What's more attractive than being entitled to free tickets on a public holiday?
Besides waving flags and witnessing our National Day Parade being held at The Float@Marina Bay, Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has then launched it 2009 Reasons Campaign today in conjunction with our 44th National Day celebration. Free redemption of tickets to attractions namely the Night Safari or Jurong Bird Park was made available to the first 2009 pax, having their SMS passport as a form of verification.
As early as 5.00pm, citizens had started queuing in hope of getting their free entrances to the Night Safari. The response was over-whelming. The crowd was havoc. OMG.
- Everyone wouldn't want to miss a chance.
National day was celebrated at the Night Safari since we managed to get ourselves our free entrances. Oh my, the crowd was over-whelming, we even had to queue to pass the entrance. I was super duper excited of course since this is my first trip to the Night Safari. After the whole night-creatures tram trail, it was quite a disappointment. The whole presentation wasn't that interesting. At one point of time, I was desparately in search for the animals. Urrghh!
-A day to remember.
- Love, thirsty.
The long awaited "Tribal Show" put up by the Sarawak natives was simply awesome. Should I say, they truly own the stage. What makes my jaw drop was their skills in doing such unbelievable acts like fire-blowings and swallowing. Their interaction with the auditions was fantastic, I wasn't probably blinking my eyes at all.
- The tribal natives showing off their fire-blowing skills to the auditions.
But overall, we had a great time together! So What's next? Let's plan for more adventure trips please? Go-kart and luge probably? What do you think? Well, you shall decide then love. :) TEEHEE!
Love,
