Sneak Preview,

Saturday (22/08): Time of my own,
Venue : NLB (Jurong East Branch)

My long and awaited weekends are finally back!!! A hula gelek2!!! And as most of you muslim readers might have known, today marks our first day of the holy month of Ramadhan, a memorable day to begin with since Syawal(Hari Raya) is just around the corner. So what are you waiting for? Its time to head down to geylang serai bazaar for that once in a year shopping experience in preparation for Hari Raya. Royal designed carpets? Fringe curtains? Handbags? YES!!!! TEEHEE!

Apart for all that, I've decided to travel a lil bit to Jurong NLB to retun my books. Well, its due dates were drawing near. Urgh! In return, I've borrowed more books for my leisure reading. Picking and choosing a book off its shelves is difficult for me. When it comes to reading, I have a whole lot of citeria(s) to look out for. Most of the time, I would just browse and place it back on the shelves. To me, the various elements; design, color schemes, pictures, font-types, etc designed on a book cover are essential in my choice of reading besides its content. Seriously, I've tried reading a plain-white designed book and after some time, I would just shove it away. That "strong-attractive addiction" in reading that particular book just wasn't there. Probably, I was just born with that mindset in book selection. Conclusion is, Colourful and creatively designed books are simply love!!!

Here's something which I would like to share, in my opinion thou, "How I changed my life" by Todd Strasser was marvelous. It was definitely an enjoyable source of reading. Love it to bits. I've tried searching for his list of book collection via the self-service portal. Even though, it had stated "Not on loan", it was such a hassle searching for it. Well, I shall try my luck the next time round. :)

Thursday(20/08): Meetup with partner!
Venue : Vivocity

After such a long time, we had decided to meet for dinner. Figs & Olive was definitely a perfect dine-in to feast on. My stomach was growling as usual, as we were waiting patiently for our food to be served. Seriously, I CAN'T WAIT! HEHE!

We simply had a great time catching up with each other. It was interesting to hear about her experiences as an educator. Her experiences were definitely an eye-opener to me. Being an educator is not as easy as it may seems. It could be as tedious as sticking a thread into a needle hole.

Overall, it was an enjoyable dinner cum sharing session with my partner. :)
